Can we thrive still without Gilchrist

Being that we will be without Gilchrist for the next few weeks will we still make it into Big East play with only 1 or 2 losses and will we suffer greatly without him

there is no way, we are in big trouble.  two post players on the whole team means bad news.  he was by far our best player this year

I agree that we could make it to conference play with only 1 or 2 more losses, but after that we're in for a rough January.  We have @ UL, ND, @ SU, and WVU. First shot at a win is vs Ruters on the 16th.

Famous, Leemow, Howard, Mercer, DoJo.

This one really hurts.  Gilchrist is/was the most consistent player on the team  I think the team will now go as DoJo goes.

It will be a near repeat of last year, minus verdejo (he graduated didn't he?).  We would do pretty well, but not enough quality subs and the guys would get tired (Or in foul trouble) and it would hurt us at the end.

The game I am concerned about is UCF.  We lost there last year, and they appear to be improved.  Gus was one of our big improvements and now he is out.  I do not want us to lose that game.
