The Harmon Forecast

Cincinnati 35, South Florida 28

LINK

J. Darin Darst, Producer: South Florida hasn't played much of a schedule, but they finally get a test against the No. 8-ranked team. The biggest concern for South Florida will be stopping Cincinnati's offense, which is third in the nation, averaging 42 points a game. The home team usually wins on Thursday night, but not this time. Prediction: Cincinnati 31, South Florida 20

Dennis Dodd, Senior Writer: It's just a question of when the Bulls run ... out of gas. They do every year at this time. If they're for real, they're going to have to beat Cincinnati. South Florida plays much better at home and Cincinnati has no idea what it is facing in B.J. Daniels. Prediction: South Florida 27, Cincinnati 20

Johnny Rosenstein, Editor: Thursday night often spells doom for the higher-ranked team and with the Bulls allowing just 9.4 points a game the Bearcats face a huge task. Cincy won at Rutgers and Oregon State. Three of USF's wins came against Wofford, Western Kentucky and Charleston Southern. Tony Pike and Mardy Gilyard lead the way. Prediction: Cincinnati 35, South Florida 21

Jason Horowitz, On-Air Talent: South Florida has a history of playing well in these Thursday night games, but I think Tony Pike and Mardy Gilyard are ready to keep this rolling. The Bearcats have the fourth best offense in the nation and have already won in a hostile environment this season (huge win at Oregon State). Prediction: Cincinnati 28, South Florida 20

Tony Pike and Mardy Gilyard lead the way, alright.................right into the locker room for x-rays and bandages.
