I can't believe how good he is!  I heard the coach's talking about him over the summer but MAN!

He is averaging 6.1 yards per carry.  He has 16 carrys for 99 yards with a TD in two games!

I was not even excited about him on signing day but am CRAZY for him now!  I hope he still sees some carries when Taylor and Ford come back!

This kid is growing on me every game.  Put an offseason in the weight room and this guy is going to be lighting it up for the next three years.  He's probably going to be the first back to be "featured" at USF in some time by the time he graduates.  His junior year I'm guessing is going to be HUGE if he stays healthy...

I'll reserve my judgement until we play a real team with actual speed.

Did you forget the Andre Hall years?  He wasn't only featured, he was all we had on offense most of the time.

There is no arguing the kid is fast and makes good decisions in the open field (against Wofford and WKU), but he is very slight (build)  and seems to go down very easy.  A 160 lb (I'm sure he's more like 150) kid is not going to make much noise in a the BE this year game in and game out.

Look for this kid to be something his junior year.

you do know that he was the RB who broke out of that pile and ran for a TD against Wofford?

coaches should pull usc tapes and see how usc used reggie bush

lamar should be returning punts and kick offs(if he can hang on to the ball)

Don't think you read my post clearly.  It's been awhile since Andre Hall was here my friend in the terms of games.  At many schools, one feature back moves on and the very next season, game 1, the next takes over.  Since Hall left the field, we've been playing a GROUP of guys.  Even this season, we won't have a feature back and next will probably still see a 3 headed monster at the least.  So in 2011 when I was thinking, it will be quite a while since Hall.

returning punts?  I'm not positive it was him since they kept saying Theo Wilson, but I'm pretty it was him(that dropped the punt).

I thought it was worth the try, and I hope he could be a returner later this year if he gains confidence and experience.

Good point. I didn't see any passes his way against WKU that were so effective against Wofford.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
