He's quick off the ball just as advertised.  Smart play to get him going.  Never know when a few injuries hit and I like the rotation of the Dline.  That will pay off big once we hit the big east schedule...

Play him a little and then RS him like we did to BJ last year.

I'm not sure if I like this move... we're really deep at DE. Just IMO.

What did we end up doing with BJ? Did we do a straight RS or did we apply for a medical RS?

I don't think you can afford to RS Giddins. In the plays he was in there he looked fast, has some nice moves to beat defenders, and went for the ball. He needs more reps, so that by the time the 2010 season rolls around he will have enough plays under his belt.
