I think Nate Allen would have a better chance of being a 1st round pick than Murphy.  But that is great news that he is so highly thought of on a national basis.

doubt it.  murph would really need to have a huge year to jump into the first round.

i dont see 3 CBs getting drafted in the first round this year and there is also some guy who runs a 4.3 at the combine from some small school that jumps up the charts.

doubt it, unless Selvie jumps up his game a little he will not be a first rounder in my opinion.  I will withold my thoughts until after WKU, since Wofford's gameplan does not allow much in the way of sacks, or even tackles for loss.  They ran away from him, and that is to his credit, but he needs to get out of double teams better. 

He may see the first round if scouts look at him as a player who will not see a constant double team in the NFL and can see his abilities with NFL training and position coaching.

Murphy would have to have a banner year, and I hope that both these guys set records and become the 1 2 first round punch USF can build on.

1st, one thing I've learned is no one has a clue about whos' going where this early in any draft.

2nd, Patrick Robinson's stock took a huge hit last Monday.  His play was pitiful for a senior at times.  He wiffed on a 3rd and 15 tackle when he had Hankerson 7 yards short-- took a bad angle, went soft, Hankerson shook him and got the 1st and that was the winning drive.  Murphy knocks him down on the same play, and Robinson is overrated.

3rd, a forced fumble is a good start for Murphy

4th, Murphy is doing what needs to be done to impress scouts this year, showing some safety, nickel, and corner.  With his size, and versatility, if he has a good year he should be a first day draftee.
