****,  after seeing those two defenses,  it wouldn't be much of a stretch to say Syracuse could take either.  I think we can definitely take down both with a decent performance from our Bulls.

Cant be true, the sky is falling, I read it on here earlier. Those two teams, as well as Cincy are way out of our league.

I saw two good teams playing last night. Teams that would have beat us by at least 2 touchdowns. We need to be better prepared. If we play focused and execute all game we can beat both. Until i see better play....we lose both.

I think we can take both out. You have got to remember that these are two Florida teams going at each other, we have the speed, etc.... the team will come through those who don't think so will be sorry and if I am wrong I will be sorry and I won't have to pass out either. Trust in your team jerks.

I was at the game Monday night in Tally. I wouldn't write either of these teams off just yet (except Miami when Jacory Harris gets a season ending injury).

Yeah, both teams had a MISERABLE secondary, but both teams had a pretty solid run defense, and a lot of playmakers.

i'm sure you're gonna see a completely different FSU defense in 2 weeks when they travel to Provo to play BYU. Their young secondary will have another game under their belt, which will probably be pass heavy on the Jax State side. Greg Reid, is gonna be a monster in a few weeks. Miami was afraid to kickoff to him in the 2nd half.

USF needs to lay a total complete smackdown the next 2 weeks, and bust their asses to get ready for this game. I originally thought this would be a blowout, with FSU coming out on top, but now I strongly feel it's gonna come down to who has the better offense and better kicker.

Will Grothe throw miserable interceptions (Then have Canales take the blame)?

Will the offensive line provide adequate holes for the running and time for Grothe, (or Daniels) to pass the ball?

The most intriguing match up with the FSU and USF game will be the USF Defensive line vs the FSU Offensive line.

Not sure what UM will be like several weeks from now, but if I had to guess the intriguing match up would be the WR vs DBs on both side of the ball.

I don't know what USF will do at FSU and Miami is too far away too even worry about. Both of our starting QB's could be gone by then for all we know.

That said, where is all of this negativity coming from? From the Wofford game or from last season?

Grothe did not throw interceptions, he threw one interception. Our O-Line was blocking for RBs that averaged 5.4 yards a carry.

That doesn't sound too bad to me. You can't grade or take anything from the Wofford game. I know many wanted a 72-0 shutout to be happy but that will probably never happen under CJL. Kentucky Weslyan was it. We really won't know how far we are until we actually play FSU. We would have been better served in playing a team like FIU over Charleston but we had no choice in the matter.
