I know you play games to win and you don't look at continuing streaks, breaking records, etc., but it's too bad that Hester, amid the bad ankle, was able to get on the field and get open, but not get a ball.  He had a consecutive games with a catch streak, I think it was 22, that was hence snapped.

Keep battling Jesse and hope to see you back to 100% soon.

He has to learn to not only battle the physical effects of the injury, but the mental side of things as well. He is still really letting things fly on his Facebook that are not only bad for him, but could have a deleterious effect on the team as a whole. Apparently, he shares Bulliever's sentiment that he should have gotten the ball and should have been a larger part of the team's gameplan. He also seems to think that the other players on the team do not have his back. It keeps getting uglier and uglier with him. I just hope that he gets his head on straight in time to help us win our important games. He is a Senior leader and we will need him in three weeks more than ever.

I don't believe he "should" get the ball.  I only stated it's too bad he didn't.  I thought it was courageous that he got out there with a bad ankle, perhaps it was selfishness.  I don't know.

I don't read his Facebook.  If it is as you say it is, and I believe you, he does need to get stronger mentally if he plans any hope of returning full speed.

I wasn't slighting you by saying he should have been targeted for a completion, I think he should have as well. You have a Senior leader who is down on himself and his team and is battling back to see the field despite a serious injury, I would have gotten him the ball too.

He just needs to straighten out his attitude if he is going to be the player he was the past few seasons. I don't have a Facespace or Mybook (I get the updates from my wife) but she is on there constantly and he posts really negative things as his status. He usually changes the updates within moments, but the fact that he is airing his emotions out on such a public forum is concerning.

is facebook good for anything?  I mean it ruins relationships, allows college players to shoot off at the mouth about crap that should be kept behind closed doors, etc.  I saw a commercial thats main point was think before you post.  perfect

this isnt twitter

i mean i have the stupid social networking device and all i do is connect with old friends, usually drop a line to eachother and never talk again.  pretty much pointless.

From the last few things I have read on here (not 1st hand mind you), he does not appear to be acting anything like a leader.

If he is too hurt to practice, he should be out there helping young receivers to get better. I know he wants to play, but if you aren't healthy enough to practice, I can't see how game day makes you more healthy.

Many people feel they are more important than they are hence the rise of these social networking sites.  Then again what do you expect after raising the last few generations and constantly coddling them and telling them how special and unique each child is etc.  I use the sites the same as you, to connect with old friends or give people a heads up ill be in their area.
