I know the Clippers had to leave SD, but moving to LA seemed suicidal to me.  Do they really have fans or are their season ticket holders just Laker fans who couldn't get Laker tickets? What is the price differential?  It always seems when I catch a Clipper "home game" against the Lakers the Clipper fans are in the minority.  It is too bad this franchise can't get its act together because I think this could be a great rivalry if they ever could become winners.  I think their greatest moment since moving to LA is getting out of the dilapidated Sports Arena.

the owner donald sterling is a PI lawyer

he has no desire to win and says so

the clippers are his toy

the tickets are considerably cheaper and much easier to come by.i can get free  tickets almost any night  to  a  clipper

game.

concessions are the same

it is a great situation for clippers

staples is the best indoor arena i have been in though it does not have the aura of  THE gardern(not boston garden)

Thanks for the reply.  What about the fans?  Is there such a thing as a die hard Clipper fan?  If so what % are Clipper fans & what % are Laker fans who can't get or afford Laker tickets?  What a waste of a hard to come by NBA franchise in So Cal.

not many die hard clipper fans.if there are they don't admit it.

lakers are loved by everyone.

conversely, people seem to be afraid to root against lakers

less than 10% clipper fans and more than 90% laker fans
