This was a GREAT signing by the Rays.  They filled a big hole at DH, and an even bigger hole against left handed pitchers.  Playing DH and playing indoors should help him avoid wearing down as the season progresses, like he has the last couple of years.  The Rays just got better.

He can play OF if needed, but he won't be there often.  At least we hope he won't have to play there often, because he isn't very good there.

very ture as the season CC seems to have some issues with his knee and this will allow CC to play DH and still keep the same Batting order.
