Down 7-0 ... was 1st and Goal at the 1 and NOTHING  :'(

Still hoping for a big win against UVA

Go Big East !

NOW 7-7 ... Rutherford TD ... 36 for the season ... 1 away from a tie with Dan Marino for TD Passes in a season for Pitt.

TD was not to Fitzgerald . . .

:'( Now 14-7 Virginia

Pitt misses extra point  ::) 14-13 Rutherford ties Marino with 37 TD Passes

with about 10 minutes to go ... Pitt misses FG and trails 20-16  :(

Also chokes in the "small" ones sometimes.  Not the mark of a terrific program, but the direction that coach has taken them from where they were is up.

Hes pretty good.  Not everybody is Stoops.  Anybody that could have pulled Pitt up to the lever they're at from the level they were is not too bad.  Not saying hes great but hes pretty good.
