+1 USF and Miami both play in pro stadiums, but USF has the U beat big time in atmosphere now....sad that the U has 5 NCs and Dolphins games have a much better atmosphere.

I watched some of that game.  They showed the upper deck where they made the UCiFers sit.  I thought that was lame since the rest of the place in the lower deck (for the most part) was almost empty.  That really was one ugly game.  Looked familiar.

I could be wrong but I think we will get a better crowd for our games with UM. Miami fans don't show up for games against non-bcs opponents. USF will probably be held in higher regard by their fans especially if we are ranked in the Top 25. BTW, I grew up going to UM games so I know what their fans are like.

announced attendance was 40k. We had much more when we played them, in fact it was their largest crowd that year (58k). and by the way that game was also on ESPNU and also was a rainstorm.

You played them in a different stadium which masked their poor fan base. Now they are in Pro-player, when you boys play them, no more than 35-40k will show.  Guaranteed.  Have fun with the series, I am glad we didn't ink it.

We get them at home next season and then that's it.  I would rather play you all, at least you have a fan base.  Your AD should have inked one with the Old boys rather than the U if you wanted a better rivalry. Their program is on the decline and no one cares. 7 years = huge mistake.
