eric-soncrant why does the bookstore not have any game specific shirts?

my buddy and his wife loved my 2002 memphis "heads are gonna roll" tee shirt.

i get to the bookstore ready to drop $400+ on shirts ect

and the selection was paltry just plain t shirts nothing department specific, no game specific shirts no off the wall or zany shirts. maybe cataloge orders or something will help?

we only spent $140 got a few things for the little one and for the one that's on the way, but the choices were so limited, few larger sizes ect.

if the bookstore can't print in quantity, let the art dept make a few for intrested fans or you could even pre order the shirts if sales are slow. this site and the alumni site would be great to advertise orders for the shirts.

did the management of the bookstore change it seems to have lost some of it's usf character?

if the bookstore is not going to have a broad selection of usf stuff where can I get great usf stuff?

every game i come to i buy a couple game specific shirts

The bookstore was taken over by Barnes and Nobel.  They handle all the ordering and such.  If you have any ideas for shirts you'd like, Mike Stuben now handles the merchandise for athletics and has done, in my opinion, a fantastic job.  You might let him know your ideas and in the future he may have the flexibility to do some special game shirts.  He handles all the stuff you see at the stadiium now.

I think the bookstore is now run by Barnes & Noble.

Coincidentally, I asked about game shirts about a week ago and was told that the reason they didn't have them is because some games sell much more than others, so it's difficult to know how many to order of each. I don't know what the future plans are for carrying them.
