i don't think the rest after 40 are necessarily in order

how can we not be a top 40 team?

They are in order after #40:

VILLANOVA, PA. - When Collegiate Baseball recently released its annual list of the nation's top baseball recruiting classes, the Villanova baseball program was among the nation's best once again. For the fourth consecutive year, head coach Joe Godri's recruiting class was ranked in the nation's top 100. Godri's 2005 class is the second best in the Northeast Region and fourth best in the Big East Conference according to the Collegiate Baseball Rankings. Overall, the Wildcats' class is ranked 69th nationally - up from 81st one season ago.

We should compete very well in the Big East.

New Big East baseball 2004 Recruiting:

37. Notre Dame

46. Pittsburgh

48. South Florida,

57. Louisville

58. St. John’s

69. Villanova

71. West Virginia

Once we start playing in the Big East we'll probably have the top Baseball recruiting class in the conference, as we should be able to consistently get in the NCAA tourney.

I just hope that we don't always get put into a bracket with UF, FSU and UM as we did in C-USA.

It's pretty weak that USF's baseball team will get better only because its competition will mostly get worse.

Maybe so, but USF will have more of an opportunity to get quality baseball players from the the northeast now.

I think UCF baseball will be in for a rude awakening playing in C-USA.

I have been saying for years that our baseball team needs a change.  Things have been stagnant for too long with few championships.  How can Elon, High Point, College of Charleston have  better recruiting classes then the 13th largest school in the nation?  I will tell you, our coach and our facilities don't do enough to attract players.   We should be ranked every year in baseball.  It has been too long since we have been ranked.  There is no excuse.
