I found it absolutely befuddling that Stewart defended the play calling on WVU's last drive before OT. They had plenty of time and 2 timeouts left to work with to get about 15-20 more yards.

not so much the boosters (although i am sure some of the high and mighty ones were involved), mainly the administration.  Ken Kendrick is one of our biggest benefactors (owner of AZ diamondbacks), and he was one of the biggest voices of objection immediately after stewart was hired in january.  plus i think most people were like me, kinda confused but hoped for the best, and were waiting to see what happened - i and i think most wvu fans never imagined he could have been as horrendous as he has been thus far, given the returning offensive talent we had.

I wonder how much of this is an inexperienced coach learning the ropes, and how much of it suggests that the heart and soul of the program left with Rich Rodriguez.

At the end of the Colorado game, the sideline reporter said the WVU team looked confused and unconfident. And she was right. I've not seen WVU look like that in a long time.
