This should add fuel to the fan debate.  A small article on the front page of St. Pete Times has a school official sending an email to all the students asking them to NOT BOO their own team.

I would never boo our players, but this stuff happens all of the time.

UK Head Coach Rich Brooks vilified Kentucky fans last week after they booed when QB Mike Hartline returned to the Norfolk State game. Said it made him sick to his stomach.

I got into it with a USF fan at one of our home games this year who was heckling Alverado with lots of language and nasty comments.  I do not tolerate this at all.  It is completely unacceptable.  These are KIDS.

  I think fan behavior is going to be completely different for the next home game. With all the bad rep, media coverage, and outrage from us the fans I think those that know they went too far are going to chill from now on. That, and I'm sure TPD has been instructed to rule with an iron fist.

Stuff like that is just stupid.  I mean, do people really think that him hearing people constantly berating him is going to help him kick better?  If anything, yell at the coaches that a) keep sending someone out there that is struggling, or B) can't recruit someone to do the job better.
