As your academic adviser, I strongly suggest cutting the class for the following reasons:

a) studies have shown that seldom, if ever, does one class make or break a semester...

consider your election to avoid class a personal challenge...can I miss this lecture and

    still do well?

c) a little known (to college kids) fact: a great deal of what you have to learn...not of

    great value once you've walked across the stage. There's a high probability that what

    is going to be discussed in this lecture falls within that domain.
