FIUPantherFan Posted September 18, 2008 Group: Member Topic Count: 0 Content Count: 44 Reputation: 13 Days Won: 1 Joined: 04/17/2005 Share Posted September 18, 2008 The big benefit for FIU is that there are going to be soccer games there (MLS hopefully, USL for sure), several high school football games, concerts, etc. There's going to be a lot of activity on that field year around and natural grass would get roughed up (take a look at Dolphins Stadium during a Marlins game after the Dolphins and Hurricanes play on it).
