He is on the Practice Squad. It was reported the day he was cut from the Jags.

I can't believe the Jags took him in the third round and didn't even put him on the practice squad.  Not to make a dig at Trea, but they are worse than the Bucs at talent evaluation.

I think the Eagles got a good one there.  He should wiggle into the league much like Hall did, but with less travelling

Glad to see he got a chance to learn under a perennially talented defense. They're pretty stacked at DB in Philly...but Trae will be better off for having learned under Jimmie Johnson for a year....

he was drafted in the 5th round, i believe.

The Jags took him in the 5th round, after a player clears waivers they can sign to any practice squad they want. The Jags may have offered and Trae decided to go to Philly instead. I wish he was in Miami he could prob start there.
