Mrs. Normal is heading to Tampa today

on a family mercy mission.  I gave her some last minute advice this morning when I dropped her off at the airport:

Do NOT listen to Duemig on the radio

Do NOT pick up an Orlando paper at the airport, but if you do, do NOT read a guy by the name of Bianchi in the sports section

Do NOT act like USF football fans are good people

DO critique the football uniforms as though you are one of those goofballs on What Not to Wear

DO act like you know more than our offensive coordinator, because you probably do know more.  :

DO call up Coach Leavitt and recommend that he change our punter; fire the OC; recruit better players, especially ones with more stars; schedule ONLY top ten teams; let the media in on every team meeting, phone call, practice, etc.; play our back up QBs more; make sure other teams do not score a single point and guarantee that USF scores points on every drive; make sure USF players never get flagged for anything;  change our uniforms so that they adhere to every fan experts' idea of what the uniforms should look like; and control fan behavior before, during and after every game.

I figure if she follows this advice, she will fit right in on her trip back home to the Bay area.

I've already bought a ton of this year's gear, so I told her to stay away from the bookstore, Bulls Heaven et al.  When we are down for the holidays, however.....
