Chris Hays, the Sentinel's NFL editor, described it like this: "It was an atmosphere of drunken, disorderly people and it was not limited to any section. It was the entire stadium.http://blogs.orlandosentinel.com/sports_college/2008/09/usf-fans-might.htmlBold statement, seeing how I didn't see anything going on that night!! Not saying it didn't happen, but I didn't see or hear any of it!

Not to say it doesn't happen, but it's not like away fans are huddled in a corner covered in booze that's been poured on them and full of bruises from all the fights they've been in. BULLigerent Posted September 17, 2008 Group: Member Topic Count: 0 Content Count: 446 Reputation: 19 Days Won: 0 Joined: 10/08/2003 Share Posted September 17, 2008 This is all so lame. There obviously is an issue and we need to fix it, but come on.....I can say that I truly did not hear a single thing on Friday night...and I'm the guy who WILL say something to fellow Bull fans who become unruly. I heard nothing. Not a word. I'm not saying it didn't happen or that it doesn't happen....because it does - at every single stadium (college and pro) throughout the country. I've experienced it plenty at away games and I don't like it (that's why I'm the guy who will correct a Bull when I see it). Hell, last year I got screamed at the entire walk from HCC to the stadium by UCF fans.....at our house. It's part of the game. I don't like it, but it's part of the game. I'm a big boy, I can take it. When it gets R rated, I will say something because it's just uncalled for. I don't go and write an editorial on "UCF fans" - because it's not UCF fans - it's just the 10 jackasses that I was unfortunate to be stuck with. USF fans - let's step up and be more considerate....everyone else, shut the hell up and quit your whining. You wouldn't be whining if you had won the game. It seems everyone's worst college football game experience just happens to be a game that their team was upset. [except for me, whose worst college game day experience ever was in Orlando two weeks ago when I had to wait for a friggen hour to catch a bus to get back to my car, then spend another hour on a bus stuck in traffic trying to get back to my car...which dropped us off no where near our car].Bottom line: Bulls fans - the country is watching us, they're watching our team. They don't like us. I don't know why. Let's not give them any fuel for their collective fire. Let's win games and let's do it respectably.
