Hi all,

I run a football blog for the fun of it. And I love the college game, but I don't have a rooting interest (my alma mater plays D-III ball).

So for the fun of it, I decided to put my college football allegiance up to a vote! I've narrowed it down to five finalists, of which South Florida is one.

You can check out my post here:

Don't worry, my site doesn't have any pop ups or advertisement or anything like that. I'm just a huge football fan (mainly I write on pro but I do get down and dirty with college plenty) approaching something I lack in my life with levity and fun.

I'd love to hear reasons you think I should become a Bulls fan (or maybe reasons I shouldn't  ;D). Thanks in advance!

Cian

Well I'd like to believe that out of the teams on your list, we have the best shot of winning a NC. Plus we'd beat all those teams on there. I would love to play Wake Forest in a home and home or bowl though to see.

You'd be surprised. I'm a lifelong Green Bay Packers fan so I know a thing or two about devotion. (I grew up in Wisconsin, but never had any real connection to the Badgers.)

I take football very seriously even if I can be a bit irreverent. That doesn't mean I'm not completely serious. I plan a pilgrimage at some point this year or next to wherever I end up giving my allegiance.

I narrowed the list down to five schools who I like how they go about their business. I'm an intensely devoted person, but thought it might be fun to see what people had to say about an issue I hadn't made up my mind about.

I can understand your concern, but let me assure you, I'm not a fairweather kind of person.

Do you want to be awesome?

Or do I want to extend my awesomeness? Answer: yes.

Does anyone know of good bloggers who focus on the Bulls? I'm trying to gather material "arguments for" from good writers, too.

I suggeest u attend a home game at each school. That is really the best way to know. Costly I know.

But if you start with USF first, u might be easily convinced that you dont have to make the other trips.

Try Greg's Blog.

The Octonian should really solidify it though.   http://nunesmagician.blogspot.com/2008/08/octonion-of-solace.html
