Under Armour signs University of South Florida to uniform deal

Under Armour Inc. will spend $2.9 million to outfit the bulk of the University of South Florida’s athletics department for the next five years, marking the second such deal for the company in the last month.

The Baltimore-based performance apparel company is paying $1 million in cash and will provide $1.8 million in products to the Tampa, Fla.-based school’s athletic teams and staff.

Under Armour (NYSE: UA) will outfit the school’s football, baseball, softball, men’s and women’s soccer, and golf and tennis teams.

The deal does not include South Florida’s basketball program.

Yeah, this was discussed a couple months ago. Basketball's contract is still with Adidas.

Look for new uniforms this season too.
