While warming up before Friday’s game against Kansas, University of South Florida QB Matt Grothe noticed a USF fan screaming derogatory slurs at the Jayhawks cheerleaders.

“I didn’t appreciate it,†Grothe said. “Some idiot of ours, every time a [KU] cheerleader walked by, he yelled ‘[sexual slur]’ over and over to each and every one.

“Yelling at a cheerleader? Those poor girls don’t know why they’re getting yelled at. It’s like me going up to that guy’s mom and calling her [that]. Is he going to like that? They should just be happy with [us] winning games.â€

Ba-Zing!

I would be alright with taunting UCF's man-leaders, but not other teams.  Oh well, we're the eagles.

good for MG on speaking out.

i wonder if he said anything to that fan while it happened?

i would be pretty embarassed if the star QB of my team called me out from the field for being a dumbass.

anyways, we as fans need to better police our own.  be loud, be obnoxious, but know where the line is and don't cross it.

Props to Matt for speaking up.

Sad that no one around this clown bothered to shut this guy up.

Yeah, you tell the belligerent drunk screaming at cheerleaders to stop.  There's a better chance you'll end up with a broken nose than him stopping.  We don't need the fans to police the drunks.  We need the police to police the drunks.

I'm sure Matt has a soft spot for the Cheerleaders since his GF is one.

Here is the thing if Matt heard them I am sure someone from USF on the sidelines did as well. Why didn't they have those A-holes kicked out and their ticket rights taken away?

You wont say that when you catch a right cross out of nowhere.  You may beat his ass, but then you'll probably be escorted out of the game as well.
