Lately my buddies from U of Texas have been giving me a hard time about using their "Hook em" sign......  I know we are young and we do what we can, but I highly doubt UT was the inventor of this hand sign.  They tell us to be original but just because you've used the sign for over 60 years doesnt mean it belongs to you nor should you have exclusive rights to it.  Thoughts, opinions, and/or comments about this debated hand sign?

Just a completely queer conversation if you ask me.

Someone clearly used the concept of helmets, football fields, seat backs, and cheerleaders before us too.

When you're late to the party, you can only do so much.  Perhaps another hand gesture could suffice?

Fans in Texas are strange.  What, Texas A&M patented the whole "12th man" thing?

Surprised Texas didn't patent the pinky and forefinger.
