Remember a couple of years ago...the FIU fans, all 5 of them, came on here talking so much smack...and then they almost beat us. I respect FIU fans for the simple fact that that team has got to be hard to follow...but they're not winning this one.

I respect FIU for the simple reason that their panther girls could get it. There is not one bad one.

I hope USF has a blood thirsty attitude and runs away with it by halftime.

Thats the problem past USF teams haven't come out and blown away lesser teams like they should.

UTM was one of the first in awhile, lets hope they come out on fire like that game.

Big difference between the team 2 years ago and this team.  Most of the guys that played in that game were seeing the field for the first time in their first game including Grothe.  The difference between teams past and this year's teams are that most of our guys, even the younger guys, have been on the field and aren't overwhelmed simply by stepping foot on the field.

We have better talent plus more experience.  That was not there last time.

Nah... don't be fooled.  I actually went to the FIU game vs. USF.  If I remember right, that was Grothe's first (maybe second) game as a redshirt freshman, and we still managed to come back and win the game.

I don't think FIU was quite as bad back then as it is now.  And Grothe's no longer a redshirt freshman.

I was at the FAU game last year and we were lucky to ESCAPE........

It is there opening of their new stadium.

We will win......But I doubt it will be a blowout

Hopefully we will not look past FIU towards NCSU......

man i know your team is great and im personally a fan but dont underestimate what a hungry team will do.

haha. ask ucf what a hungry team does. we still beat them. if you guys score a touchdown ill be surprised

first of all, fau is light years ahead of fiu. so comparing the two doesnt make sense

FAU - Won a conference championship, 8 overall games (including a game against a BCS team), and a bowl game.

FIU - Won 1 game in the past 2 years

There's really no comparison...
