USF Baseball To Hold Walk-on Tryouts Sept. 25

TAMPA, Fla. – The University of South Florida baseball team will hold a walk-on tryout for the 2009 season on Thursday, Sept. 25 at 4 p.m. at Red McEwen Field. 

Those players interested in trying out should stop by the USF baseball office in the Athletic Training Center to pick up a walk-on packet, which includes the following forms: liability waiver, NCAA drug testing consent, pre-participation physical forms, health and personal information forms, tryout clearance and biological specimen testing forms. 

Prospective players need to pick up, fill out and return their tryout packets no later than Monday, Sept. 22 to participate in the tryout. 

Anyone interested in trying out for the team must be enrolled as a full-time student (12 credit hours) at USF, and be cleared through the NCAA Clearinghouse.
