I know we have a 10million back system and we like to rotate guys to keep the defense on their toes but....

why take out a running back when they are heating up? jamar taylor was getting on a roll only to be taken out of the game... we should let a guy run until he fizzles out, then swap backs.

I hate that too. One thing that drives me crazy about Greg Gregory.

One thing among a few things that drives me crazy about Gregory.

It's strange to say that I don't like Gregory when we're getting crazy stats on offense, but I feel like we get the stats we do because of the talent on the field, not the talent at OC. I feel we could:

a.) Do even better overall stats with a better OC,

b.) Do much better in critical periods with a better OC.

I'd even be happy to see a loss of yardage if we performed better in clock management situations.

Gregory's playcalling chaffs my ass. In other words, he gets my blood boiling.

:ROFLMAO

Out Top 2 Backs(#3 & 4 on the original Depth chart) are averaging 5.7 & 5.8 yards per carry.

Grothe is 3rd leading rusher.

The other 3 RB's are averaging 9.9, 4.0 and 5.4 yards per carry.

Avg yards per game rushing, 192.7  :o

Our passing is avg'ing over 300 yards and Grothe is Avg'ing over 260 with nearly 66% completion and a 7-2 TD-INT ratio.

We are averaging over 41 points per game.

Total Offense: 494 Yards per Game

YES, we need change !

I agree wholeheartedly, some people are delusional....really? We need new playcalling on offense? Did you not see us score 31 unanswered points against a very good defense?

I do think GG could make better decisions in critical moments (i.e. 2nd down pass at UCF, and 3rd and 1 - 5 step drop against KU), however, it should be noted that Coach Franks makes the decisions on who is in at RB.

Like ET said, we're not really using our top RBs right now, and they are doing pretty well.

Would like to see Kelly and a healthy Ford in on short yardage plays.

I think that all he was saying is that when taylor breaks a thirty yard run off, dont take him out and switch running backs.  While the defense is on their heals leave taylor or whoever is heating up in to keep pounding until that drive is over.  More momentum.

Every time an OC has done this in the past, people call for his head.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
