USF

1. Auburn

2. Kentucky Wesylan

3. UL 2005

4. WVU 2007

5. Pitt 2001

Honorable mention: Beating #13 Kansas, but they considered this as a game is now USF is EXPECTED TO WIN

UCF

1. Close loss to Texas 2007

2. C-USA Championship win against Tulsa

3. Alabama 2003

4. Loss to Tulsa in 1st CUSA Champ. Game

5. First game ever victory against St Leo 1979

Honorable mention: close lossses at Georgia Tech, Auburn, Nebraska, "...or any other game against 'bcs' conference teams durng the culpepper days";Sad that among UCiF's top 5 games of all time

Sad that among UCiF's top 5 games of all time they had to include 2 moral victories.

At least FAU had 5 wins as their Top 5 games...which speaks volume about the lack of winning at UCF.

Now if they had a list of Top 5 Whinny fanbases, UCF would be near the top.

I disagree with the show.  A game that is a loss isn't worth being on the list.

Here is my top 5, which I think is more accurate.

1. 2007 CUSA Chapionship game win over Tulsa - It won UCF some conference hardware

2. 2000 win over Alabama - First BCS win

3. 2005 win over Houston - If you were there, you'd understand

4. 2005 win over Marshall - Ends losing streak and changes program attitude

5. 1979 win over St. Leo - First win in program history

I agree with you on this one, DP.  I don't think fans would agree the greatest game in UCF history was a loss to Texas.  It just goes to show how idiotic sports media can be sometimes.

Perhaps it could have been an honorable mention, but top 5? No way.

I'll take a close win over a 1-AA program anyday over a close loss to USC.

It's a great list for us...hope we add a BCS victory to it before the season is over. On that note...it says something when your only bowl win doesn't even crack the list....

Actually several of the UCF fans on their message board count the Texas game as one of their greatest games.

I was referring to the not retarded fans.  No one in their right mind would consider a loss a top game after 30 years of football.  I could see it as an honorable mention, but no way would someone say it was number 1.

If they truly thought the Texas game was number 1, they should put the USF game this year on the list too.  They came closer to beating a ranked opponent.
