Guest
I would have to say that Alvarado's kick to tie the game against Auburn after missing his first four attempts should be on this list. Probably at the top -- even more important than Bonani's on Friday night.

Alvarado's Game Tying Kick is part of mine also.Maikon HistoryTrue freshman Maikon Bonani became a part of the USF record books with his game winning field goal against Kansas on Sept. 12. The true freshman became just the third kicker to nail a game winner to close a game and the first to do it as a rookie. As a junior Santiago Gramatica hit a 26-yard field goal to defeat Louisville, 31-28, in overtime in 2003. As a sophomore his brother, Bill Gramatica, hit a 44-yarder as time expired against Liberty in 1998 that sealed a 24-21 win.

That kick should be listed.

(And 10 days before 9-11.)In 2003 East Carolina misses a PAT in overtime, giving USF a 38-37 win.The last-play field goal in a 42-0 loss to Arkansas that kept USF's "never been shut out" streak alive for four more seasons.Didn't Huey Whittaker block a field goal to win us an overtime game once? I want to say it was against Cincinnati. And one kick that was never attempted... in its 10th football game, against national power Georgia Southern, USF goes for 2 and fails, losing 24-23. Not the second one, or third one. Its the first and should be listed for all time.
