Anyone have any idea how long it'll take a caravan of six charter busses to get to FIU from USF?

I am flying down Saturday morning and back Sunday morning.  Hope some Bulls fans are on the flight.

Ditto.  Flying down on Southwest, flying back on one leg of a free Spirit Airlines flight.

Had a free outbound flight, but childcare issues forced me to abandon it.  To change it now would cost $600.  Ugh.

about 4 hours maybe a little more depending how fast you go.

We've got 4 on both flights. Hoping there's a bar in our terminal here at TIA to get the weekend started right. 

I'm part of the above mentioned 4 and know nothing of what's going on except I'm showing up at TIA with a bag full of USF clothes!

this weekend needs to start the way we try to start all trips...shots at the airport bar!  ;D

and if we've only done that the one time it's tradition that needs to continue Friday!

good news: Shoop won't be there to cramp my style :)

not so good news: instead I'm traveling with 3 guys including my bro  :-\ despite what any of them may try to make you think I am single and only one of them actually knows how to shoot a gun

Mag: come to the airport bar with us...I promise if you choose you won't have to remember ANY of the flight!

Will Spirit only charge to select a seat and print a ticket out ahead of time? I tried to do the select-a-seat feature, and every choice I made had a dollar figure attached to it. Needless to say, I didn't reserve anything ahead of time. I'm hoping that on physical check-in we don't have to pay anything.

based on all the info I got on TIA's site Spirit leaves out of Terminal C. Here is a map along with the hours of every place...looks like most of the Terminal's dead  between 8:00 and 9:00...don't we leave sometime after 9? so probably boarding around 9 or a little before
