Through the first quarter of the season, we are averaging only 6.66 penalties per game for an average of 44.33 yards per game. What an improvement over last year. The poise our guys showed in the UCiF game was incredible. I know our tackling on defense hasn't been great, but this is a GREAT sign that this team is ready to make a big run this year. Kudos to the players and coaches for turning this aspect of the game around.

My buddy and I were talking about this at the game. With the exception of the ones on special teams we're doing much better.Do you have the number from the first quarter last year just for comparison?
