The front of 121 was filled with the Cocoa High School football team.  They had a blast and were WAY into the game.  #4 from their group was even leading the section in cheering on defense.

Good times, man...

Last year #4 was David Rowe who was NOT offered by USF and eventually signed with RU.  He was a three star CB and his brother was on our baseball team. I hope that doesn't one day come back to bite us on the ass.

As deep as we are with talent at CB, not suprised.

I also wasn't surprised.

I just didn't want him to sign with RUTGERS and have to one day play against him. He MUST be really pissed off.  Remember that Pitt WR, from Tampa, that we never offered who killed us the two times we played them?

Unfortunately you can't offer/sign them all.

I live in Melbourne and Cocoa High is consistently among the better football schools in the county.

I wish we had more Bulls from Brevard. Right now I think only Danny Verpaele is from here (Merritt Island).

I've lived here about eight years and have seen an increase in USF cars. More kids are going to USF from here now so it shouldn't be long before more of the real athletic talent this county has heads across the state for college.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
