If the highest and 2nd highest teams can move up and up the polls, then there is at least a chance that 2 Big East teams could make the 10 BCS slots.  Big East ranks: #12 South Florida, #21 West Virginia,

If no teams from the non-BCS conferences make the BCS, then that would mean 4 at-large slots in the 5 BCS bowls.  This increases the chances for 2 Big East teams to be selected.

Lowest ranked BCS conference's highest ranked team: #18 Wake Forest (ACC)

Gotta watch CUSA this week!  Hopefully UCF thrashes BC, it's not out of the question.

More importantly we need NC State to come up and pull a squeaker out against ECU.  That would be awesome to watch them come out on top in an emotional game.  This could do wonders for our SOS.

This could be a big Week for the BEast.

lsu- auburn is always an intriguing game. from the looks of last week lsu should have there way with them. auburn-miss st. took the sport of football back 60 years...lol

also is there a more overrated player than mathew stafford. uga might have two loses by the time they play uf on the first of november. one of them could be this week. they have to travel to tempe for a game that could be very tough for them.

I'm just worried that if LSU were to lose that we wouldn't pass them in the coach's poll.

Looks like the Big East struggles will continue... found this nugget:

In the three seasons under Wannstedt, Pittsburgh is 0-5 after bye weeks - 0-2 in 2007, 0-2 in 2005 and 0-1 in 2006. And after having last week off, the Panthers must be more than a little concerned about playing host to undefeated Iowa tomorrow.
