Yeah, they've been talking about the channel increase for a couple months now.  They've got the bandwidth to ad hundreds and probably thousands more HD channels without compressing them at all.

Wait I wanted to be the 3rd person to say that verizon is in HD channel 848

ps. I dosent mean the game will be broadcast in HD

Brighthouse is allways at the Heels of FIOS.  FIOS was the first with ESPN2 HD, ESPNU HD, NFL Network HD, FSN HD, Sunshine HD, just lacking catch 47, but with all the national recognition lately we won't have to worry about only getting games on that channel anymore.

Everything I've seen on ESPNU HD so far has been in HD (I haven't watched much on it yet though)

FIOS is the way to go!  Picture quality of satellite sucks, and will suck even worse the more channels they cram into their limited bandwidth.

satellite is best quality by far.

you must have watched with defective or inferior equipment

and satellite is more dependable

when electricity is out i still can get satellite tv

when earthquake hits,satellie still works

Sept. 17 for verizon fios. (i believe)

Sweet.  I love me some FIOS.  I'll have to DVR it as I will be out of town this weekend. But, its nice to know I can DVR it in HD.
