I know whey were upgrading their signal, need this by Saturday, can someone place a call and get this DONE! Update: They planned an ESPNU HD Channel which debuted on August 28. I guess at this time DirecTV does not carry the ESPNU HD offering yet.

I live in Macon, GA and can't get local channels in HD. Had to watch USC-Ohio St in 480. That's no way to live.

So until ESPN and Direct TV can play nice we suffer :-[

Picture quality of satellite sucks, and will suck even worse the more channels they cram into their limited bandwidth.

Picture quality of satellite sucks, and will suck even worse the more channels they cram into their limited bandwidth.Verizon mailed out a new TV channel lineup this weekend and effective as of Oct 10th it appears that they are going to have close to 100 HD channels...Up from the 30 that they currently have. Fios is definitely the way to go. I was thinking about making the switch back to Bright House...not happening now!
