He now lists USF as his HIGH favorite.

I hope he returns home to Florida and is playing for us in 2009.

We will but it's not as bad as some would imagine.  Now that Sims is getting some starts.  If we can get 1-2 Juco's come in during December, maybe Bass, and Savala, then we should be fine.  Remember Sims has a few starts now, Hermann is back, and Warren is getting a ton of play, he even played a lot against KU and looked real good.  Also, the staff LOVES Estenor.  A real mauler that is way ahead of his time, he just needs to learn everything but they want to give him more reps this season despite being a true frosh, because he's that good!

I agree that we could turn out an O-line that can perform next year, but needing 1-2 JUCO's falls into the need serious help category.  O-line is our number one need at the moment.  I'm not worried about us not getting guys at the moment, but we definitely need some.

Impressive offers from us, FIU, Troy , and UAB

I know you are being facetious, but who offered Selvie?

Evidently, you don't know much about him.

You should be more worried about who WILL offer him.

I bolded a few players, I know who are interested in USF. There may be more, but I'm not going to look it up.

I don't want to be negative on the guy but I really want to compete with the big boys in recruiting, like we are on the field.  According to your link, his best offer is from Troy.  I hope we can start getting some STUDS, not just "undervalued" guys.

We don't need HS OL freshmen to play in 2009. We need a couple of EXPERIENCED guys who can step in and help give us some real DEPTH. USF is scouring the country for OL who can play right away. Most of the name teams who we recruit against for HS players don't need JUCO OL, but that doesn't mean that they wouldn't offer if they did. Leavitt knows this guy from when he played HS football here and has watched him develop. Have you?

Having a possible All-American JUCO OL coming in and enrolling for the SPRING would give us much needed depth. We have a lot of OL graduating and a bunch of guys who are now true freshmen. Someone needs to fill that gap.

Here is his Rivals profile:
