Obviously, 3-0 makes everything nice  ;D

Where I see where improvement is needed:

- Punt/Kick-Off Returning

- Kick/Punt Coverage

- Fourth Quarter Play ... we need to hold onto these leads and FINISH STRONG !

- Need to create more TurnOvers.

- Need more Pressure on the QB

For the most part I am happiest with our Offense of the 3 Units.

Coaching: C

QB: A

RB: B

WR: B+

OL: B

DL: B

LB: B

DB: B

Punting: B

FG: B

FANS: A+   ;D

Overall, gotsta give this team a B ... we're a Top15 team.

Go BULLS !!!

Team stats:

31st in rushing

16th in passing

13th in total offense.  Not bad.

18th in scoring offense.

19th in 3rd down conversion percentage at 50%

52nd in red zone scoring percentage at 85%.  FIU is dead last at 0 for 2.  That should bode well for our defense.

17th in rushing defense

46th in passing defense

25th in total defense

65th in scoring defense.  ouch, but that counts daniels' fumble.  Hope that gets better against FIU.

48th in passing efficiency defense

42nd in 3rd down conversion % defense at 33%

107th in TO margin.  Hah.  1/0 against Kansas, though.

Grothe is 22nd in passer rating, 16th in passing yards, and 17th in total yards.  That despite playing a little over a quarter in game 1, of course (passing yards per game he would be 18th right now).  He's also 21st in points responsible for.

Taurus Johnson is 34th in receiving yards and is on pace to get 1,000 yards if we make a bowl game (78 yards a game).  Not bad with 20 receivers.

George Selvie and Jerome Murphy are tied for 40th in passes broken up.

Jerome Murphy is tied for 17th in solo tackles.  I'm not sure if that's good or bad.  McKenzie is 94th.  That first game hurt those stats.  McKenzie is still tied for 53rd in tackles for loss.

Bonani would be leading in field goals per game at 3.

I thought we had good kickoff and punt coverage against Kansas.  I'm still waiting for a faster punt returner...Edwards couldn't quite make that corner on what could have been a good return.

Thats because we put starters back on coverage not backups. Also Edwards might be the fastest guy, but he has sure hands which is more important than speed on PR.
