Well, while at times I may be inclined to agree with you it wasn't that bad of a quote in the context of the article. Plus you have to remember these guys (journalists) are reporting and getting quotes from these guys IMMEDIATELY following the game so it is only natural for them to be on a high after a win. In his defense, Grothe did play well last night, with 3 TDs, over 300 yards and ZERO turnovers (although one fumble that thankfully we got back).

Grothe needs to keep his mouth shut.  we all love him and he has probably been the player with the biggest single impact on getting our program where it is...but come on...we havent won anything yet and grothe makes comments that would make Curt Schilling blush.

leavitt needs to have a talk with him.  let his actions speak for him.
