This morning on Gameday it is 15 minutes in and still no mention of it. You would think there would be some coverage of what several print outlets have called the best game of the year, by far, but the lack of coverage is kind of amazing. and almost on cue... they finally talk about it.... Yeah both were ranked, but that was mainly because of last year. Right when we or Kansas lost there would have been a significant drop in the polls. We would have dropped out, Kansas will probably be ranked like 23 and if they lose again they'll likely be gone for the rest of the year unless they win the Big 12. It's pretty much the general vibe that both teams were feel good stories last year but thats in the past now. Us getting crushed by Oregon severely hurt our national perception. We probably have to win the Big East this year to get that respect back or head into the WVU game undefeated.

It's been clear all week that they're bending over backwards to pump up the OSU-USC game during all of their programming. They even gave it a name...the "collision in the coliseum". Outside of Brett Favre retiring again, no story was going to take them away from that. Sucks for us...but it's why many of us aren't too crazy about the network. I have a feeling our game will be better than anything that goes on in LA tonight....

Guest mleeth
You got OSU vs. USC, and whenever OSU is involved, the hype train comes rolling through. And I think Lou got more coverage for his speech at a PEP RALLY at NOTRE DAME to celebrate his title win TWENTY years ago.
