Mark it down: USF on top 25 in 2 years

Yeah, it hurts to lose, especially at home. But you have to look at what we are building.

1) Last year was our best recruiting class thus far and lots of them are getting playing time. You can just see their raw talent.

2) We're missing leadership in a few key positions, nothing that next year will not fix.

3) Our program is getting ready to explode in all of its facets. Going into the Big East schedule next year is going to be tantamount to strapping on rocket boosters.

4) Add 2 more recruiting classes and watch out!

GO BULLS!

I agree with you on the raw talent.....at some positions......but at some point, these guys gotta make a play.

It seems like when we need a play, there's only one guy who can do it, Andre Hall. He's the vocal leader of the offense, as was evident by his behavior in between plays and in the huddle last night. But anyway, somebody on defense or somebody on special teams has to start making plays.....

Speaking of special teams, what happened this year? In particular, the returners. We're used to seeing exceptional return guys......Travis Lipp is not the answer.

I think this is a rebuilding year. Hopefully, we can get some good returners and QB's. We are still in great shape to win conference and go to a bowl. The season is not over yet. Let's look toward Army.

Only because of QB play, nothing more.

Good QB play would make running game better, receiving game better, and defense would be on the field less.

The only problem QB play can't fix on this team is discipline.

A conference champ this year?!  A top 25 team in the near future?!  Yo, a freshman QB next year is not going to take us to the promised land.  We can have Marquel Fricking Blackwell back as QB and it wold not get us a conference champ this year.  This team is undisciplined and will find a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory when the game is on the line every time.  No playmakers on D whatsoever.  And only Hall as a playmaker on O.

We are still in great shape to win conference

I want this as much as the next Bulls fan but it isn't going to happen.  Penalties, turnovers and QB play will keep us down all year.  Loserville seems to be the team to beat this year.  They are destroying people.

While I agree about the penalties, I don't think overall we've taken a step back.  The running game has improved.  The DBs have gone down some.  QB play is about the same, but I think that wil improve.

We were 5-3 in the conference last year.  I still think we can do that again and maybe go 6-2 in C-USA.

Here's how I see the rest of our schedule:

10/9 - Open (We will get destroyed)  ;D

10/16 - Army (win)

10/22 - at Louisville (loss)

11/3 - at UAB (toss-up)

11/13 - ECU (win)

11/20 - at Cincinnati (win)

11/27 - Memphis (toss-up)

12/4 - Pitt (win)

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
