Guest JulmisteForPrez
We almost always have better talent than our opponent.I'm starting to realize how average to BELOW average our coaching really is.ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS outschemed & out-strategized.No ability to adjust and be creative. This is a sad day for me....realizing we will never be what I thought we could be with these coaches. The last 5 min of the 2nd q and the entire 2nd half the staff did an amazing job.

Especially the offensive coordinator. He tries to get too creative. On 3rd and 1 in the 4th quarter, you run the ball. Instead, he has Grothe drop back and take a sack. I'm happy with a win, but with 25 seconds left in the game and 2 timeouts, why not try running the ball one more time? With our kicking woes, you'd think anything closer is better. The worst that happens is overtime.

I left the stadium surrounded by ecstatic fans and i was disgusted.

postmortem Posted September 13, 2008 Group: Member Topic Count: 0 Content Count: 743 Reputation: 0 Days Won: 0 Joined: 09/08/2007 Share Posted September 13, 2008 I figured they would get Grothe out of the pocket more than they did. His playmaking ability is his best attribute but we never got him out of the pocket. He had all day to throw in the pocket but that isn't his game.... anyway, coaches did a good job to get back to the running game in the second half. What you see on the field is real and with a few adjustments and learning experiences we should be better each week. So disgusted is not the feeling I have right now - but i am still shaking! Did you watch the same great college football game that I did? We might have discovered a new, clutch kicker and our Bulls played their ass off!
