Dear Coach Gregory:  Once again, thank you for leading our offense that just scored 37 points against the #13 team in the nation and racked up close to 500 yards of total offense once again.  I am sorry that some of our defeatist, small minded fans gave up on our offense and team at halftime.  You're doing a great job Coach.

I had a lot of "non bulls" calling me and they all said the same thing I was screaming..."YOU ARE TORCHING THEM ON EVERYTHING OVER 15 YARDS<WHY ARE YOU THROWING 3 YARD PASSES, BUBBLE SCREENS AND THOSE QB DRAWS????  THROW IT DEEP AND IF IT'S NOT THERE, THEN LET GROTHE NATURALLY TAKE OFF!!!"

We are holding back this offense.  Yeah, we are putting up some yards, but believe it or not, with this talent, we actually should be BLOWING FOLKS OFF THE FIELD!  These WRs are INCREDIBLE when coupled with Hill at TE who is a friggin stud and WHERE THE HELL WAS JAMAL TAYLOR THE FIRST HALF?!?!?!

I've said it from the start, he's our best back and it was almost an accident he got in the game.

Dude, it was obvious all game, even in the first half we could torch these guys deep and all we had to do was AVOID their strength, THEIR LINEBACKERS.  Yet what did he do the entire first half?  Call short passes and QB runs which all favor the LBs!!!!!!!!!

Then in the second half, we finally do what we should've from the beginning and we put up craploads of offense.  Do you realize we put up 200+ in ONE QUARTER?

That shows that we SEVERELY MISCOACHED the ENTIRE first half when you can absolutely ***** slap a defense like that by just throwing deep...did our WRs get faster at half time?  Or better route runners?  Did Grothe get a stronger arm?

NO, yet we EASILY torched them at will in the 3rd quarter.  In the 4th quarter, WHEN WE STOPPED throwing deep, what happened?  We pissed away a 14 point lead when in reality we should've been trading scores.

Dude:  You ever here of emotions and momentum.  We were flat after playing the Gnats in an OT game last Sat.  CJL lit into them and we played better.  It has nothing to do with the play calls.  By the way, our 3 and 4 yard passes often turned into 8-9 yards.  Even the announcers were saying we had the dig route all night.  Our offense was the same both halves, but with some passion from those running it, it works better.

Gregory needs to lose the dink and dunk game and just go with the vertical game.  It works whenever they do, it seems like is afraid to open it up but you have to go with what works.

Dude, rewatch the first half and you'll notice that there were VERY FEW play calls where the WR's actually had "deep" routes and then count all the QB runs which went for NOTHING.  Now fast forward to the 3rd quarter and notice what plays were missing and what they were replaced with...Those plays were there ALL NIGHT, we just didn't have the balls to "open it up" early.  We've got to take the training wheels off this thing.  Our talent is much better on offense than they are being allowed to play...

Hopefully tonight will open their eyes.  Forget the screens and forget putting Grothe under center because it just telegraphs a run.  Run the 4 wide with the shotgun and give it to Taylor once in a while, that kid is like a ton of bricks to bring down.
