Big East Stinks

Aside from USF, the Big East looks terrible.

Is this just a down year or did the Big East already peak? Thoughts?

I'm worried about the big east. it's by far the worst BCS league down-year or not. The only reason the acc is bad is because teams like fsu and miami arent ranked right now. that doesn't mean they dont have some of the best players still. West Virginia is really the only team in the big east that is consistently good and look at them now.  :-\ 

lets keep hoping USF begins to dominate the big east. that way if it were to lose its bcs affiliation whenever the contract is up (???) another conference would want to pick us up.

one bad year is not going to be enough for the Big East to lose its BCS berth. That said, lets hope that this turns around ASAP

The BEAST having a down year certainly won't help us when bowl contracts are renegotiated . . . and we need better bowl tie-ins.

oh jesus.  everybody overreact now.  :

yes, the BEast is in a down year...  the ACC has had three of them in a row.

the Big 10 [really the "Big 2 + small 9"] has been soft for years, with one of their 2 elite teams losing season openers to a 1AA and a mid-major two years in a row.

all our team can do is play its ass off and handle business... and if we get the BCS bid and beat our opponent in the Orange Bowl or Sugar Bowl or whatever, no one can say we didn't deserve it.

let's all calm down now.
