Yeah I heard about that but isn't now being used to dig up opponents turf following a victory so that we can add the sod to a "Grave Yard" at the athletics center?

FSU, Miami, Florida, Notre Dame, Ohio State, etc. do this for their rivalry games and I heard last year that we were going to start doing it this year.

Is this true?

Not sure, but if I were UCF and if someone walked out on the field with a shovel and planted it in my logo, I think I would be pissed...

That goes without saying, anyone would be pissed off that someone had disrespected their schools' logo. Pride is what its all about, if someone were to dig up the Bulls "U", I'm sure plenty of people would not be happy about that.

I never saw anyone use the shovel in that manner-- it is held up in the air more like a spear than anything else.

pretty simple-- keep digging. Kinda like Rutgers Keep choppin wood

Shoop posted a pic of it being planted in the UCF logo:

Can't find it now, but I saw a picture of our players on the UCF loga after Saturdays game with the shovel in the ground.

I hope they were NOT digging, but I am not sure from the picture.

Maybe we should either leave the shovel at home or on the sidelines...
