I'm not sure how happy we should be about this one.  Happy sure, but I'm not to sure this team is all that different from the one we saw at USC.  Poor discipline, the offense still looks weak, and even the defense looks a little suspect.  We won and thats great but we beat a team that has a really really weak defense.  I don't think TCU is known for their O either and they still manged to put the points on the board against us.  We need a disciplined team that plays well together, not this fundamentally flawed exposition we have seen the past few weeks.  

I'm glad we won but I think Southern Miss is a lot better than TCU and next week will either be another nailbiter or a really long night, HOpe i'm wrong.

On defense USM is better than TCU's.  I don't think they are as good as USC's.  TCU's offense is much better than USM's.

TCU has one of the top offenses in the country... and one of the worst defenses

USM defense will be a lot better than TCU was but their offense should be a lot worse too

SO this should be a 21-17 kinda game coming up

USF has stunk up one road game every year since 1997. South Carolina was just this year's edition. I was heartened by the TCU game, I think we've improved a great deal.

yeah there was def a lot of improvement, no matter how bad TCU's defense was.  In the two games this year before TCU the QB's couldnt even hit the receivers, they would bounce it or launch them way over their heads.  At least last night they were hitting the receivers, for the most part!
