So I am making my own USF cornhole game, board, bags and all.  My boards are done, however I can't find ANYONE that carries a USF patterned fabric (preferably duck cloth).

Does anyone know where I can find some?

Thanks for your help in advance, and as always GO BULLS!

It would be great if someone made a TheBullsPen.com one and donated it to be auctioned for the site.  ;D

You guys, your boards all look great!  The best news is, I am a seamstress (and also a nurse) (and also a band MOM), and I can make your toss bags for you.  If somebody would email me at ellensmithrn@yahoo.com with the dimensions, I'll be happy to do that and find the green duck fabric.  I can embroider them also. If somebody is donating a board, I'll donate the toss bags.  What do you put inside them?

The legit bags are filled with corn. I wish I still needed them, but I ended up settling with some green and gold baggos I found on ebay. I will probably be upgrading them next year however (this was my first attempt at making the board and baggos), so you will probably hear from me then, if the offer is still good.

Thanks!

Go Bulls!

The official dimensions are 6" x 6"  You use 2 pieces of duck cloth that are 7" x 7" and sew a 1/2" seam so the finished product is 6x6.  They're "officially" supposed to be filled with whole kernel corn but living here in FL I decided to go with the alternative, plastic pellets.  My bags would already be moldy/ruined if I had the corn in them (not good to get wet).  You can find the plastic pellets at Joann's or Michaels (helps to use their 40-50% off coupons they have occasionally).  They're supposed be filled with 14-16 oz of filler (corn or pellets).  I filled mine with 15 oz of pellets.  When I first made my bags the were really firm and I actually had several get holes (too much pressure on the seams when they're really firm).  Also, because they were filled so much the sides actually measured less than 6x6 when finished.  I decided to remake them and made the templates 7 1/2" x 7 1/2" and filled them again with 15 oz of pellets.  This time they came out perfect.  Exactly 6" x 6" and filled just right.  In case you were wondering 15 oz of plastic pellets came out to 2 3/4 cups for me.  Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks for all the great info, I am going to make some and I'll keep you posted.  I'll also get update on the fabric/embroidery.  I agree with the plastic pellets due to the water and humidity.  I should have some available within a week or so.

An alternative to USF fabric would maybe be 10th Anniversary Patches some local Bulls stores sold them... Or you could just get green or gold fabric, good generic fix.

I hope to be able to make a set of corn hole boards soon for the Brahma Battalion tailgate festivus but will just have to settle with drinking a bunch of beer and tossing the pig skin.

However when I get them built I will post some pictures - right now I'm trying to assemble the first Brahma Battalion helmet and need some help finding Gold paint that is our shade - do they sell it in a spray can form, all I can find is cheesy UCF chrome gold -Or- does anyone know of an airbrush artist locally that can airbrush it the right shade  ???
