This was a huge surprise to myself as well as to coach Schiano. He said Rutgers will still continue to recruit him and they were disappointed but he feels he made his decision too quickly. He said he will consider his offers from Rutgers, BC and Florida State as well as consider Penn where his brother plays and is open to any new schools that offer. He has no timetable for his decision he told me.I am posting this here because it's on the R100 board as well. Do not shoot the messenger. I am as stunned as everyone else.Mike FarrellRivals.com National Recruiting Analyst

His bro plays for Penn State and lots of big name schools after him.OT: Anyone hear about Rutgers picking up Malcome Bunche? I really wanted him but I don't know how much the coaches talked to the kid.His brother plays for University of Penn (Ivy League) and it's still down to RU and UP. Several schools came after him, but he made it clear a certain academic standard had to be met before he consider the school. Boston College the only other D1 school he consider, but has since cross him off the list. His de-commitment has more to do with certain family members wishing for him to follow his brother to UP's Whaton Business School which is the best in the nation.Bunche committed Rutgers last Friday just after another OL from Pa. committed. Bunche decision came down to U of Miami and RU. His mother lives in Florida, but he lives in Delaware.

I believe Rutgers, Pitt and Syracuse are tier 1 schools and I don't think USF is even ranked in the top 4 tiers.
