I don't see the purpose of this...

Well you must see that we obviously need an OF (and another bat). If you dont want bonds, then Sexson is the next option.

Note: Its Sexson not Sexton

yes you are correct it is sexson.  however, he is in no way, shape, or form an OF.

Ha, ur right. I forgot he's a first basemen. We are even  ;)

So we are only helping by adding a bat, not a very good one in my opinion.

well you add a true first baseman and can put giambi in the DH spot.  thats what you gain.  and plus any roster moves at this point in the season give the fans hope and move the blame from the front office to the players.

which is exactly why the rays need to do SOMETHING with their offense.  even if it isnt jason bay....but that is who I want
