Lets beat them at home and then they will wanna to come.

On another note...

You think Auburn would turn down a deal to play us here after we beat them? Do you think they would want a shot at returning the favor???

I think 1-1 is more likely, but obviosuly well out in the future.

The big difference is we are BCS and they are not.

Tallahassee, Miami, & Gainesville.

Tallahassee because they've been doing it for more than 50 years.

Miami, rarely, because UM won't play UF without a 1-and-1 series.

Florida will never play in Tampa when they could get opponents to play in Gainesville where 92,000 (and growing) people can buy tickets.

Exactly, Jim.  UF will never play in Tampa or any other non SEC city, except tally, plain and simple.  They do not play OOC games on the road.  They haven't in years, and won't likely in the future.  Look at their past schedules.  They include 8 conference games, 2 home cupcakes and FSU.  With 12 game years, they play 3 cupcakes.  Although they did step it up this year, with home games vs Miami and Hawaii, and then the Citadel.  Last year was WKU, Troy and FAU.  The year before was USM, UCF, and Western Carolina.

When they can get 92,000 fans paying an average of $50 per ticket = $4,600,000.  Add in concessions at $15 per person, is another 1,300,000.  Parking nets another 250K per game.  So for a home game, UF brings in about 6+ million dollars.  What incentive do they have to play in Tampa?

They are playing in Miami in a few years.

I'd love to have them in Ray-Jay. But they will want some money in their pockets.

And next years OCC for UF includes powerhouses: Charleston Southern, Troy and FIU.  If I was a fan of theirs, I would be demanding better OOC games.  I am sure they try to justify the cupcakes by saying they place a tough SEC schedule.  Of the 4 home conference games, most years there is only 1 or 2 decent games.

Charleston Southern is a replacement for UCF. I would have much rather played another mid major in 2009

IMO, home games over the next few years with plenty of fan interest:

2008 - Hawaii, Miami, LSU, South Carolina

2009 - Tennessee, Arkansas, FSU, maybe Ole Miss

2010 - USF, LSU, South Carolina, maybe Miss St. or Kentucky

Of course, there's also Georgia... where UF gets 40,000 tickets. It's not a home game, but it's another good game that Gator fans get to attend.

2010 is a must win for our Beloved BULLS !!!

Beat them and then have a few years to decide about what to do about the 2nd game.
