The site reports that Williams is competing with fourth-year veterans Scott Starks and Gerald Sensabaugh for the starting nickel job. The Florida Times-Union reports the bonus "in the $170,000 range," then says Williams was USF's all-time career interceptions leader.

The signing bonus is the only thing guaranteed, so in other words, he didnt get "PAID"....but my fellow Durant Cougar got a good chunk of change though, definitely.

the paperwork is done.  now its just up to on the field performance.  if Trae takes care of business he is set for life.  i consider that PAID.  granted...its not Nate Clements money but its a heckuva lot more than someone Trae's age can make
